Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BlurFirst (the “Service”), provided by BlurFirst. By installing the extension or buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

BlurFirst is a browser extension that blurs content on a web page before you share your screen. The blur is rendered locally in your browser.

Accounts

You’re responsible for the email address you sign in with and for activity under your license. Provide an address you control.

Free trial & billing

• Paid plans start with a 2-day free trial. We collect your payment method at signup but do not charge it during the trial.
• If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and your payment method is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled.
• The lifetime plan is a one-time payment with no recurring charge.
• Prices are shown at checkout. Taxes, invoicing and payment processing are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record.

Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation and refund details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

License & acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use BlurFirst on up to the number of devices included in your plan. You agree not to resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service, and to use it lawfully.

What the Service is not

BlurFirst only affects content inside a browser tab — it cannot blur native apps, other windows, or your whole screen, and it doesn’t auto-detect sensitive data. You’re responsible for choosing what to blur before sharing. The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlurFirst is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any data exposed because content was not blurred. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
